1 Scope

This document specifies alternating current (AC) and direct current for electric propulsion and/or hybrid (with rechargeable batteries and fuel power) propulsion (DC) Design and installation of electrical systems. This document applies to the following electric propulsion systems used alone or in combination. ---DC less than 1500V; ---Single-phase alternating current not more than 1000V; ---Three-phase alternating current not more than 1000V. This document is applicable to electric propulsion systems installed on small craft (LH meeting the requirements of ISO 8666) with a length of no more than 24m. Appendix A of this document lists the additional information contained in the owner's manual, and Appendix B lists the additional information for the installer.
