Summary: This standard specifies the dimensional requirements for specimens of plastic materials prepared by molding or by machining from sheet or profile. This standard specifies the nomenclature and sample size for obtaining comparable data, and also specifies the nomenclature and sample size for other commonly used samples. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the dimensional requirements for the preparation of specimens from plastic materials by molding or by sheet or profile machining.
