When any one indicator of the inspection results fails to comply with the technical requirements of this part, this batch of products shall be deemed as disqualified. 4.2 Hydrogen purity The purity of hydrogen is calculated in accordance with formula (1). 4.3 Determination of moisture content 4.3.1 Determination of free water in first grade and qualified products It is determined by inversion method. At the ambient temperature, PLACE the hydrogen cylinder vertically inverted for about 10 min; slightly OPEN the cylinder valve to let the free water flow into a dry and clean vessel at the mini flow; CLOSE the cylinder valve when there is hydrogen. USE a measuring cylinder to meter the flowing out water, the volume of which shall comply with the corresponding provisions of Table 1. 4.4 Determination of oxygen, argon and nitrogen contents 4.4.1 Determination of oxygen, argon and nitrogen contents are given in Appendix A.5 Packaging, marking and storage5.1 Hydrogen cylinders shall comply with the provisions of GB 5099, AND the cylinder color mark shall comply with the provisions of GB 7144.When transporting, the hydrogen cylinders shall be marked with the signs as specified in GB 190. 5.2 The filling, marking and storage of hydrogen shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 14194 and the Gas cylinder safety supervision provisions. 5.5 Hydrogen shall be attached with a quality certificate during exit-factory, which shall include at least. 5.6 Calculation of hydrogen volume SEE Appendix C for the calculation of hydrogen volume.6 Safety requirements6.1 The production, use and storage of hydrogen shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 4962, Provisions on safety management of hazardous chemicals, and Special equipment safety supervision provisions. 6.2 Hydrogen is colorless, tasteless, flammable and explosive gas. The hydrogen mixed with chlorine, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and air has a risk of explosion. As the hydrogen is low in ignition point and high in explosion energy, it shall pay special attention to its production, use, storage, and transportation. The explosion limits of these mixtures are as follows. 6.3 Hydrogen accumulates in the room AND is at risk of explosion when the content reaches the explosion limit. In the hydrogen atmosphere, people are at risk of suffocation. 6.4 Before maintaining or handling hydrogen pipeline, equipment, cylinders, etc., it must use the nitrogen to replace the hydrogen content (or other methods) to a level suitable for hot work in advance. 6.5 Hydrogen leaking from the cylinder nozzle or in rapid discharge has the risk of catching fire; therefore, it shall ensure that the cylinder nozzle and valve are free from leakage and the cylinder cap is tightened when the cylindered hydrogen is exit-factory; when using the cylindered hydrogen, it shall open the cylinder valve slowly. 6.6 The cylindered hydrogen shall be stored at a well-ventilated place free from open fire and away from heat source or oxidant.
