1 Scope

This document describes the sound pressure level measurement method of the power capacitor unit, and to determine the sound power level of the power capacitor unit. This document applies to shunt capacitor units for AC power systems with a nominal voltage of 1000V and above and a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. Yuan, AC filter capacitor unit, DC filter capacitor unit. Refer to implementation for other power capacitor units. This document does not apply to capacitors whose body height is less than 0.8m.
