3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5620 and GB 5763 are applicable to this document. 5.3 Friction Performance 5.3.1 The small sample bench test results of Category-1 linings shall comply with the following requirements: ---Room-temperature friction coefficient room-temperature is not lower than 0.25, and complies with the indicated level; ---High-temperature friction coefficient high-temperature is not lower than 0.25, and complies with the indicated level; ---The friction coefficient at any point in the second recession 93 C ~ 288 C temperature section and the second recovery 149 C ~ 93 C temperature section of five tests is not lower than 0.15, and the difference between the friction coefficient value at each temperature point and the average value of the five tests does not exceed 20%. 5.3.2 The friction performance drag test results of Category-2 linings shall comply with the following requirements: ---The working friction coefficient working is within the range of  15% the set friction coefficient value; ---After the test, there is no delamination or falling-off of the linings. 5.4 Shear Strength The shear strength of bonded linings at room temperature (23  5) C shall not be less than 3.0 MPa. After the shear test, the area of friction material remaining on the backing plate shall not be less than 80%. The shear strength of bonded linings at high temperature (300  10) C shall not be less than 2.0 MPa. 5.5 Limit of Harmful Ingredients 5.5.1 The linings shall not contain asbestos. 5.5.2 Other harmful elements in the linings shall not exceed the limit requirements specified in Table 3. 6.5.2 The determination of lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium contents shall be carried out in accordance with the stipulations of JC/T 2268. 6.5.3 The determination of polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ether contents shall be carried out in accordance with the stipulations of QC/T 944.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Inspection Classification 7.1.1 Exit-factory inspection The exit-factory inspection items include appearance, dimensions, friction performance and shear strength (the bonded type). 7.1.2 Type inspection The type inspection items are all items specified in Chapter 5. Under one of the following circumstances, type inspection shall be carried out: a) When new products are put into production or product type appraisal is conducted; b) During normal production, once a year; c) When there are significant changes in raw materials, production processes and equipment, etc., which may affect product quality; d) When production has been suspended for more than one year, and then, resumed; e) When the exit-factory inspection results are significantly different from the previous type inspection results. 7.1.3 Batch grouping principle The actual delivered quantity of linings with the same formula, same process and same month is considered as one batch. When the batch size is too large, it can also be divided into several small batches. 7.2 Sampling 7.2.1 The appearance and dimensions of the linings shall adopt the method of random sampling. In accordance with the stipulations of single sampling plan for normal inspection in GB/T 2828.1, conduct sampling. Take the special inspection level of S-4 and the AQL value of 2.5. The sample size, acceptance number or rejection number of different batches shall comply with the stipulations of Table 7. ......
