1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, requirements, test conditions and materials, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of pencils. This document applies to graphite and coloured pencils with barrels made of wood. This document does not apply to charcoal pencils and special purpose pencils.
