1 Scope

This document describes the gas chromatography method for the determination of main content and organic impurity content in 15 low-carbon fatty amine products. This document applies to monoethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, monoisopropylamine, diisopropylamine, mono-n-propylamine, and di-n-propylamine produced by the alcohol ammoniation process. Amine, tri-n-propylamine, mono-n-butylamine, di-n-butylamine, tri-n-butylamine, mono-isobutylamine, diisobutylamine, mono-sec-butylamine, di-sec-butylamine, and ketone amination process Determination of the main content and organic impurity content of the prepared monoisopropylamine, diisopropylamine, mono-sec-butylamine and di-sec-butylamine. The minimum detectable content is 0.01% (mass fraction).

4 Method summary

Under the selected working conditions, the sample is vaporized in the vaporization chamber and passes through the capillary chromatographic column, so that each component in the sample is effectively separated. Isolation was detected using a hydrogen flame ionization detector and quantified using the calibrated area normalization method.
