1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for low-speed vehicle drive axles (including chain drive drive axles, transmission conjoined drive axles and shaft drive drive axles). requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage. 4 Technical requirements

4.1 General requirements 4.1.1 The product shall comply with the provisions of this document, and be manufactured in accordance with the product drawings and technical documents approved by the manufacturer's prescribed procedures. 4.1.2 All parts and components should meet the corresponding standard requirements for parts and components, and the purchased parts should have a certificate of conformity and can be assembled only after passing the inspection. 4.1.3 The appearance quality shall meet the following requirements. a) The axle housing of the cast drive axle shall be flat, and there shall be no defects such as cracks, inclusions and pores that affect the quality. Weld the axle housing weld of the drive axle It should be uniform, firm and reliable, neat and beautiful, and there should be no welding defects such as missing welding, burn-through, false welding and cracks. b) The metal on the surface of the part shall not be peeled off and corroded after the plating and oxidation treatment layer. c) The exterior of exposed fasteners should be galvanized, passivated or otherwise treated for rust prevention. d) The non-matching outer surface paint coating of the drive axle shall comply with the regulations of TQ-1-2-DM in JB/T 5673-2015. 4.2 Assembly 4.2.1 The parts should be cleaned before assembly; there should be no metal chips, rust and other debris that affect the cleanliness of the assembly, and the matching zero should be checked during assembly.
