1 Scope

This section provides for the determination of total rare earth oxide Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate. This section applies to the determination of samarium rare earth oxides of europium, gadolinium total Concentrate. Measurement range. solid Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate 90.00% ~ 99.00%; liquid Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate 100g/L ~ 300g/L.

Sample was dissolved in hydrochloric acid, in the presence of ammonium chloride under the conditions, pH > 9 with an aqueous ammonia precipitation of rare earth, separated calcium, magnesium.
