1 Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements for the operator's cab and control station of jib cranes as defined in GB/T 6974.1, as well as the cab structure, driver's cab and control station. 4 Basic Requirements

The operator's cab and control station of a jib crane shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 20303.1.

5.Driver's cab structure

5.1 The dimensions of the driver's cab shall not be less than the minimum interior dimensions of the driver's cab specified in Figure 1. The net height should not be less than 1700mm, the net width should not be less than 1000mm, and the net depth should not be less than 1500mm. 5.2 The total volume of the driver's cab shall not be less than 3.1m3.When determining the volume and size, the number of workers allowed in the driver's cab shall be considered. and the driver's sitting and standing needs. 5.3 The cab structure should have sufficient strength and rigidity, and the connection with the jib crane should be safe and reliable.
