General Cargo Containers for General Purposes3 Terms and DefinitionsThose defined in GB/T 18259-2009 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 plywood for container flooring plywood which is generally used for container flooring, made of wood veneers or bamboo-based elements (such as bamboo curtains, bamboo mats and so on) and resistant to insects, corrosion and weathering 3.2 full-wood plywood for container flooring plywood for container flooring, which is made by bonding wood veneers, including plain plywood and faced plywood4 Classification4.1 It is divided into the following categories in accordance with materials. 4.2 It is divided into the following categories in accordance with surface treatment.5 Requirements5.1 Structure 5.1.1 Full-wood plywood for container flooring 5.2 Insect prevention and corrosion prevention treatment As agreed by the supplier and the purchaser. 5.3 Dimensions and dimensional deviations 5.3.1 Dimensions are as follows. 5.3.2 Dimensional deviations. the dimensional permissible deviations shall be as specified in Table 1. 5.4 Appearance quality 5.4.1 Plain plywood for container flooring The requirements for appearance quality of plain plywood for container flooring are specified in Table 2. 5.4.2 Faced plywood for container flooring For the panel is faced on upper and lower surfaces, the requirements for surface quality are specified in Table 3. 5.6 Bottom strength of container As specified in the requirements of bottom strength test in ISO 1496-1.2013.It can also be tested in accordance with other test loads required by the purchaser.6 Test Methods6.1 Dimensional inspection 6.1.1 The measurement of thickness, length and width is specified in 8.1 and 8.2 of GB/T 19367-2009. 6.1.2 The measurement of edge straightness is specified in 8.4 of GB/T 19367-2009. 6.2 Appearance quality inspection 6.2.1 Appearance quality is generally determined through visual inspection. 6.2.2 It can be determined with Vernier caliper or steel measure tape or filler gauge if necessary. 6.3 Mechanical property test 6.3.1 Preparation of test pieces 6.3.3 Water content test As specified in the water content measurement of GB/T 17657.The water content of sample to be tested is the arithmetic mean value of the densities of three test pieces, accurate to 0.1%. 6.3.6 Short-span shear force test 6.3.6.1 Principle Determine the maximum load borne by test pieces over a specified span. 6.3.6.2 Apparatus Including. 6.3.6.3 Test method 6.3.7 Concentrated load test 6.3.7.1 Principle Determine the maximum load of test pieces within the elasticity range. 6.3.7.2 Apparatus Universal mechanical tester, accurate to 10 N. 6.3.7.3 Test method 6.3.8 Bottom strength of container Carry out the test as specified in ISO 1496-1.2013.When the purchaser has no special requirements, refer to Annex A for the simulated container underframe for the bottom strength test.7 Inspection Rules7.1 Inspection classification 7.1.1 The product inspection is divided into ex-factory inspection and type inspection. 7.1.3 Type inspection includes concentrated load, in addition to all items in ex- factory inspection. 7.1.4 In one of the following cases, type inspection shall be carried out. 7.1.5 The bottom strength test for container shall be carried out by container manufacturer. 7.2 Sampling 7.2.1 Basic requirements Take samples from the same batch of products for the product quality inspection for plywood for container flooring; carry out inspection for the samples one by one. 7.2.4 Mechanical property test Take samples from each batch of products randomly. See Table 8 for the sampling plan. 7.3 Criteria 7.3.1 Criteria for test results 7.3.1.1 If the mean values of density, water content, static bending strength, elasticity modulus, short-span shear force and concentrated load of the samples for plywood for container flooring are as specified in the standards, then the performance of the batch of plywood is determined to be accepted, or else, it will be determined to be rejected. 7.3.2 If the appearance quality, dimensions and mechanical performance of products are as specified, then the batch of products is determined to be accepted, or else, it is determined to be rejected.8 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage8.1 Marking 8.1.1 Product marking Products shall be marked at the proper positions with product name, manufacturer name, product standard number, manufacturing date and inspection mark and so on. 8.2 Packaging Products shall be packaged in accordance with specifications, tree varieties and batch numbers when they are delivered. 8.3 Transportation and storage Products shall be piled in order during transportation and storage and protected from contamination, damp, rainwater and sunlight exposure. ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al. |
