Summary: This standard specifies a non-pressure series technical requirements and test methods for dry bulk cargo containers. This standard applies to intermodal road, rail and sea transport as well as the type of container between these modes of transport. Because of differences in the density and mobility of various types of dry bulk cargoes large containers conforming to this standard will not necessarily suitable for all transport dry bulk cargo. Therefore, unless otherwise specified, the provisions of this standard are minimum requirements. Containers for the transport of dangerous goods, shall comply with the provisions of international and domestic transport developed by the relevant competent authorities. Involved in this type of standard containers shown in Table 1. Such container marking requirements should be consistent with the principles specified in ISO 6346.
