This Standard was proposed by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Standardization Management Committee. Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for electric pressure cookers1 ScopeThis Standard specifies energy efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and test methods for electric pressure cookers. This Standard is applicable to electric pressure cookers that are heated by electric heating elements or electromagnetic induction, of which the rated power is not more than 2000W, the rated volume is not more than 10L, and the rated cooking pressure is 40kPa~140kPa (gauge pressure).2 Normative referencesThe following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. GB 4706.1, Safety of household and similar electrical appliances Part 1. General requirements GB 4706.19, Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Particular requirements for heating liquids3 Terms and definitionsFor the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB 4706.1 and GB 4706.19 as well as the followings apply. 3.1 energy efficiency for electric pressure cookers the ratio of effective output energy of electric pressure cooker to input electricity4 Energy efficiency grades4.1 Energy efficiency grades for electric pressure cookers The energy efficiency grades for electric pressure cookers are divided into 3 grades (see Table 1), of which grade 1 is the highest.5 Technical requirementsThe minimum allowable value of energy efficiency for electric pressure cooker is grade 3 index value of the energy efficiency grades in Table 1.6 Test methodsThe test methods for energy efficiency for electric pressure cookers, warm- keeping energy consumption and standby power are in accordance with Annex A.Annex A(normative) Test methods for energy efficiency for electric pressure cookers A.1 Test conditions A.1.1 Test environment The test environment shall meet the following conditions. A.1.2 Power supply The test of energy efficiency for electric pressure cookers shall be carried out under the conditions at the rated voltage of 220V±2.2V and rated frequency of 50Hz±1Hz. A.1.3 Measuring instruments The measuring instruments shall meet the following requirements. A.1.4 Water Use tap water for the test. A.1.5 Product initial conditions Before each test, the difference between the inner pot, heating plate (induction coil), outer shell and the ambient temperature is within 5°C or the product has not worked for at least 6h. A.2 Test methods A.2.1 Test preparation The test is carried out under the maximum cooking pressure function specified in the electric pressure cooker instructions and the pressure cooking time is greater than 30 min. A.2.2 Determination of power consumption During the test, the initial water temperature is 23°C±2°C. The test procedures are as follows. transmission instrument test data with the same or higher accuracy shall prevail. A.2.3 Calculation of energy efficiency The energy efficiency for electric pressure cookers is calculated according to formula (1). A.2.4 Determination of warm-keeping energy consumption During the test, the initial water temperature is 23°C±2°C. The test procedures are as follows. A.2.5 Determination of standby power Measure the power consumption of electric pressure cooker for 4h in the standby state. Then use the arithmetic average method to calculate the hourly power consumption, which shall be standby power. For products with wake-up function, keep them in a non-wake-up state during the test. ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al. |
