1 Scope
This Standard specifies the basic procedures, inspection requirements, as well as the
rules for determining inspection results for the inspection of general-purpose overhead
cranes for export.
This Standard is applicable to the inspection of general-purpose overhead cranes for
export.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 Inspection lot
The unit products of the same specification, model, and production conditions
assembled for the purpose of sampling inspection are called inspection lot, or lot for
short.
3.2 General purpose overhead crane
For the ordinary purpose overhead cranes, its spreader is one of hook, grab or
electromagnetic chuck, or two or three of them are used at the same time.
3.3 Overhead traveling crane
The overhead crane that the two ends of the bridge are directly supported on the
elevated track through the running device.
4 General Requirements
4.1 Safety and health requirements
The safety and health requirements shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB
5226.2, GB/T 6067.1, GB/T 14405, GB/T 15052, GB/T 20303.5. See Table 1.
4.2 Basic performance requirements
The basic performance requirements shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T
14405. See Table 1.

5 Inspection
5.1 Inspection conditions
5.1.1 The manufacturer shall implement the technical standards for product design,
manufacturing, and inspection confirmed by the supplier and the purchaser in the
export crane contract, as well as the national laws and regulations on inspection,
environmental protection, safety and health of export commodity.
5.1.2 The manufacturer shall provide the product quality certificate within the validity
period, as well as the necessary test reports and test data within the specified period.
5.1.3 During the inspection period, in addition to the regular maintenance and
adjustment of export cranes or parts according to provisions, no adjustment, repair or
replacement shall be made.
5.1.4 All test conditions, methods and specifications shall comply with the provisions
of GB 5905. If there are other provisions in the contract or in the process of performing
the contract, the supplier and the purchaser shall modify and supplement the technical
requirements, inspection methods, locations, content (items) of the contract products
and the provisions confirmed by both parties shall also be implemented.
5.1.5 The measurement accuracy of various parameters shall comply with the relevant
provisions of GB/T 14405.
5.2 Inspection mode
The inspection mode is one hundred percent inspection.
