Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for Standardization - Part 1.Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents. This document is Part 7 of GB/T 2424.The parts of GB/T 2424 that have been issued are shown in Appendix NA. This document serves as a replacement for GB/T 2424.7-2006 Environmental Tests for Electric and Electronic Products - Measurements in Temperature Chambers for Tests A and Tests B (with load). In comparison with GB/T 2424.7-2006, apart from structural adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical changes are as follows. a) The content of “Table 1 -- Test Conditions” is modified (see 3.1; 3.1 of Version 2006); b) The requirements for “temperature sensor” are modified (see 4.2.2; 4.1.1 of Version 2006); c) The content of “location of test load” is modified (see 5.2.2, 5.2.1 of Version 2006); d) “Location of the chamber wall sensor” is deleted (see 5.3.2 and Figure 2 of Version 2006). This document identically adopts IEC 60068-3-7.2020 Environmental Testing - Part 3-7. 1 Scope

This document provides a uniform and reproducible method for confirming whether the temperature test chambers comply with the requirements specified by the test methods in IEC 60068-2-1 and IEC 60068-2-2 when there are radiating or non-radiating test samples and under the condition where there is air circulation in the working space. This document is mainly applicable to users when conducting routine test chamber performance monitoring.
