3 Classification
3.1 Classification
3.1.1 The products can be divided into 2 classifications according to the components,
namely, single-component (S) and multi-component (M).
3.1.2 The products can be divided into type I, type II, and type III according to their
basic performances (see Annex A).
3.1.3 The products can be divided into exposed (E) and non-exposed (N) according to
whether they are used in exposure.
3.2 Marking
Marking shall be made in sequence of the product name, composition, basic performance,
whether it is exposed, harmful substance limits, and standard number.
Examples.
4 General requirements
The production and application of the products shall not bring harmful influence on human
body, biology and the environment.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Appearance
Products are uniformly viscous, without gel or agglomerate.
5.2 Physical and mechanical performances
5.2.2 Optional performances
The optional performances of polyurethane waterproof coating shall comply with the
provisions of the Table 2.And they shall be chosen by the supplier and purchaser
according to the product application engineering or environmental conditions.
6 Test method
6.1 Standard test condition
Standard test condition is. Temperature of 23°C±2°C, and the relative humidity of
(50±10) %.
6.2 Test equipment
6.2.7 Impervious instrument. Pressure is 0 MPa - 0.4 MPa, the precision is 2.5 class,
with 3 seven-hole permeable plates, and the inner diameter is 92 mm.
6.2.8 Thickness gauge. The interface diameter is 6 mm, pressure is 0.02 MPa per unit
area, and the dividing value is 0.01 mm.
6.2.9 Semiconductor thermometer. Range is - 40°C - 30°C, Precision is 0.1°C.
6.2.10 Elongation maintaining instrument. It can make the distance between the
specimen’s markings to stretch more than 100%.
6.2.11 Xenon arc lamp aging test box. Xenon arc lamp aging test case which meets the
requirements of GB/T 18244-2000.
6.3 Test specimen preparation
6.3.1 Before specimen preparation, samples and test instruments shall be placed
under standard test condition for at least 24 h.
6.3.2 WEIGH the required sample amount. It shall ensure that the final coating
thickness is 1.5 mm ± 0.2 mm.
6.9 Tensile performance
PRTFORM the test according to Chapter 9 of GB/T 16777-2008.The tensile rate shall be
500 mm/min ± 50 mm/min.
6.10 Tear strength
TEST according to the rectangular shape specimen in GB/T 529-2008.It shall be no
cut-mouth and the stretching rate is 500 mm/min ± 50 mm/min. TEST 5 specimens. TAKE
the average of the 5 specimens as the test result.
6.11 Low temperature bending
TEST according to Chapter 14 of GB/T 16777-2008.
6.12 Imperviousness
TEST according to chapter 15 of GB/T 16777-2008, with the metal mesh aperture of 0.5
mm ± 0.1 mm.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection classification
The inspection is classified into ex-factory inspection and type inspection.
7.1.1 Ex-factory inspection
Ex-factory inspection items include. Appearance, solid content, surface drying time, hard
drying time, tensile strength, breaking elongation, tearing strength, leveling performance
and bending at low temperature, and waterproofness.
7.2 Batch grouping
As for the same type, TAKE 15t as a batch. Those less than 15t can be taken as a batch
(multi-component products shall be grouped in batch according to the components).
7.3 Sampling
In each batch of products, randomly SELECT 2 groups of samples, with 1 group for
inspection and the other for standby and storage. Each group is at least 5 kg
(multi-component products shall be extracted according to the ratio). The product shall be
stirred well before sampling. If spraying and coating method is adopted, the sample
quantity of extraction shall be according to the needs.
7.4 Judgment rules
7.4.1 Single judgment
7.4.1.3 Harmful substance limits
JUDGE it according to the product marking, and class A or class B of Table 3.If it
conforms to the corresponding categories, it shall be qualified.
7.4.2 General judgment
If the appearance, basic performances, optional performances selected according to
Table 2, and harmful substance limits meet the requirements of the standard, this batch of
products shall be judged as qualified.
8 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
8.1 Marking
The external packing of the products shall include.
8.2 Packaging
Products are sealed in iron drums with covers. Multi-component products are packed
separately according to the composition. Packaging of different components shall be
differentiated obviously.
8.3 Storage and transportation
In storage and transportation, products of different classifications shall be stacked
respectively. AVOID sunlight, rain, combustion source and collision. KEEP well ventilated.
Storage temperature is between 5°C and 40°C.
