Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 18419-2009, Domestic sanitary insecticidal –
Aerosols. Compared with GB/T 18419-2009, the major technical changes of
this Standard are as follows.

Domestic sanitary insecticidal - Aerosols
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods,
inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and
instructions for use of domestic sanitary aerosols insecticide.
This Standard applies to products that are formulated from active constituents
and suitable solvents and auxiliaries. It uses propellants as an impetus to fill in
the pressure-resistant container; the contents are ejected in a predetermined
form to kill injurious insects.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1 Aerosols insecticide
A product that seal and fill active constituents, solvents and auxiliaries in an
aerosol packaging container, and uses the pressure of the propellant to eject
the contents through a valve and an actuator in a predetermined form, so as to
kill injurious insects.
4 Requirements
4.1 General
Requirements for use of active constituents, toxicology, active constituent
content and allowable fluctuation range, pesticide effect, heat storage stability,
aerosols insecticide methanol content, aerosols insecticide internal pressure,
aerosols insecticide net content shall comply with the provisions of GB 24330.
4.2 Appearance and senses
4.3 Spray rate
4.3.1 The product shall be foggy after spraying.
4.3.2 Spray rate ≥ 98.0%.
4.4 Acidity
4.4.1 Oil-based products (calculated as HCl) ≤ 0.02% (mass fraction).
4.4.2 The pH range of water-based and alcohol-based products is 4.0 ~ 8.0.
5 Test method
5.1 General
Requirements for use of active constituents, toxicology, active constituent
content and allowable fluctuation range, pesticide effect, heat storage stability,
aerosols insecticide methanol content, aerosols insecticide internal pressure,
aerosols insecticide net content shall be tested according to the provisions of
GB 24330.
5.2 Appearance and senses
5.3 Spray rate
5.3.1 Instruments
5.3.1.1 Constant temperature water bath. temperature control accuracy of
±2 °C.
5.4 Acidity
5.4.1 Acidity test (oil-based products)
5.4.1.1 Reagent
5.4.1.1.1 Standard titration solution of potassium hydroxide. c(KOH) = 0.02
mol/L, prepare and calibrate according to GB/T 601.
5.4.1.1.2 Neutral ethanol. take 95% analytically pure ethanol; add a few drops
of phenolphthalein indicator solution; use potassium hydroxide standard
titration solution (5.4.1.1.1) to titrate, until reddish color appears.
5.4.1.3 Calculation of results
Calculate the acidity of the sample according to Formula (2).
5.4.2 pH measurement (water-based, alcohol-based products)
Shake the sample; use a nozzle with a catheter to slowly spray the appropriate
amount of insecticide into the test tube; put it in a 55 °C water bath; after the
propellant is slowly exhausted (until there are no obvious bubbles), perform the
test according to the method of GB/T 1601.
5.5 Moisture
Take the sample after pretreatment, according to the Karl Fischer method in
GB/T 1600-2001 (it is allowed to use a trace moisture analyzer of the same
accuracy).
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection classification
Inspection is divided into delivery inspection and type inspection.
6.2 Delivery inspection
The product can only be delivered after being inspected by the quality
inspection department of the manufacturer in accordance with this Standard; it
is accompanied by instructions for use and inspection mark.
6.3 Type inspection
6.3.1 Type inspection shall be carried out in any of the following cases.
6.3.2 The type inspection adopts the single sampling plan of discrimination level
II in GB/T 2829-2002.The inspection items, requirements, test methods,
sample size, rejectable quality level RQL value and judgment array are shown
in Table 2.

7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage, instructions
7.1 Marking
7.1.1 The following Chinese contents shall be marked on the product.

7.2 Packaging
The packaging shall be firm, without damage, moisture-proof and shock-proof.
7.3 Transportation
When transporting the product, take it lightly and prevent it from violent vibration,
sunlight, rain and heavy pressure.
7.5 Instructions for use
The product shall have instructions for use.
