1 Scope

This standard specifies the detailed rules for the compilation of 16 parts of the SDS, the format of the SDS, the writing requirements of the SDS, the requirements for measurement units. This standard applies to the compilation of SDS.

2 Normative references

The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) are applicable to this standard. 3 Key points of writing

3.1 Identification of chemical and corporate 3.1.1 Chemical identification The filling of chemical identification shall follow the following principles. 3.1.2 Corporate Identification It shall indicate, in detail, the supplier’s name, address, telephone number, e- mail address. 4 Format

4.1 Format size The format of SDS is generally A4 (it can also be other format sizes deemed suitable by the supplier), which is arranged vertically. 4.2 General layout format 4.2.1 Upper part of the first page Use the following format. 4.2.2 The upper part of each page after the first page Use the following format. 4.2.3 Page numbering system and its location Write the page number in accordance with the page numbering system, which is specified in GB/T 16483.Print it in the center or right position under the footer line of each page of the SDS. 4.2.4 Text The layout requirements include. a) The layout requirements of Part 16. 1) The title, number and order of Part 16 shall not be changed at will; 2) The typesetting of the headline of Part 16 shall use eye-catching fonts, AND leave a certain space above and below the title. b) The layout requirements of each sub-item in Part 16. 1) The typesetting of sub-items shall be eye-catching but not numbered; 2) The sub-items shall be arranged in the order as specified in GB/T 16483.
