This document applies to toilets used on coaches. 2 Normative references The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, for dated references, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document. At the same time, the fresh and waste water tanks need to be equipped with a heating device and the surface needs to be thermal insulated. 5 General requirements 5.1 The electric-plating and painting surfaces of the metal parts in the toilet shall be smooth without falling off; the weld seams shall be uniform; there shall be no defects such as rust, scars or pores. 5.2 The exposed parts of the toilet body and all parts shall have smooth surface, uniform color, neat edge, smooth transition of rounded corners, without defects such as cracks, bubbles, burrs, wrinkles, scratches. There shall be no sharp corners, sharp edges or other structures or defects that are likely to cause human injury in the toilet. 5.3 Floor drains shall be installed on the toilet floor, which shall be non-slip and easy to clean. 5.4 There shall be a shock-absorbing sealing device around the toilet door, which cannot be opened automatically when it is closed. 5.5 Whether the toilet door lock is locked or not, it shall be able to open the door from the inside of the toilet; at the same time, it can be opened from the outside, in case of emergency. 5.6 The installation and use of electrical appliances shall meet the requirements that during the coach roll test, the parts that are not in contact under normal use shall not be touched, damaged or displaced. 5.7 The insulation and flame retardancy of the wires shall meet the requirement, that the wire harnesses in the coach engine compartment and near other heat sources shall use flame-retardant wires, which has a temperature resistance of not less than 125 °C. The wire harness at other parts shall use the flame-retardant wire, which has a temperature resistance of not less than 100 °C. The wire color and model specifications shall meet the requirements of QC/T 414. The wire harness performance shall meet the relevant requirements of QC/T 29106. 5.8 The minimum volume of the clean water tank and waste water tank in the toilet shall be able to meet the requirements of the passenger to go to the toilet, during the operation of the coach. It can be calculated as follows: Clean water tank volume ≥ Rated number of passengers x 1.5 L Waste water tank volume ≥ Rated number of passengers x 2.1 L 5.9 The components used in the toilet shall meet the requirements for prohibited substances, in GB/T 30512. 5.10 Refer to Table 1 for the internal dimensions of the toilet. See Figure 1 for the location. 6.7 Corrosion resistance 6.7.1 Ventilation window frame for toilet: After the test according to 7.8.1, the width of corrosion on one side of the crossed part of the coating is ≤ 2 mm; the number of rust points at the non-crossed part is ≤ 5/dm; the maximum width of each corrosion point is mm. The maximum number of blisters at the uncrossed place is ≤ 5/dm2; the maximum width of each blister is ≤ 1 mm. 6.7.2 Faucet in the toilet: After the test according to 7.8.2, the surface after the test shall be evaluated according to GB/T 6461: ≥ 9 grades; the number of blisters at the uncrossed area is ≤ 5 pieces/dm; the maximum width of each blister is ≤ 1 mm. 6.8 Air exchange rate The toilet shall have a forced ventilation function, when it is powered on. The air exchange rate when the occupants go to the toilet is ≥ 85 m3/h (the air exchange rate in the toilet is about 1.5 times per minute); the air exchange rate is ≥ 50 m3/h when it is not occupied (the air exchange rate in the toilet is about 1 time per minute). The air outlet of the forced air exhaust device shall be connected to the outside of the compartment, meanwhile the air outlet shall have a shroud device. 6.9 Leakage prevention 6.9.1 The blowdown device shall have no leakage. The sliding valve shall have an automatic return function. 6.9.2 Pneumatic components and pipelines used in toilets shall meet the working air pressure requirements of coach. There shall be no air leakage, under normal working conditions. 6.9.3 The water purification and hand-washing devices in the toilets shall have no leakage. 6.10 Flame retardancy requirements The flame retardancy of materials, such as interior panels, skins, exterior top and side decorations, which are used in toilets, shall meet the requirements of GB 38262. 6.11 Air quality in toilet The air quality in the toilet shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 17729. 6.12 Volatile organic compounds of non-metallic materials For all non-metallic materials (except fiberglass, wood, aluminum-plastic panels) in the toilet located in the passenger compartment, when the material specifications meet one of the conditions defined in a), b), c), the limit value of volatile organic compounds shall comply with the requirements of Table 3. The materials used for toilets, which are 7.1.2 Test conditions: It shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 13095. 7.2 General requirements 7.2.1 Appearance requirements shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 13095. 7.2.2 Dimensional inspection shall be made by measuring tape and other equipment. 7.3 Basic performance See Table 5 for the inspection method of basic performance. 7.4 Strength of toilet cabinet, floor, toilet seat 7.4.1 Strength of cabinet and floor Test according to the provisions of GB/T 13095. 7.4.2 Strength of the toilet seat The test is carried out by placing the counterweight objects, which have load weight ≥ 130 kg evenly distributed, for 30 minutes. 7.5 Illumination Test according to the provisions of GB/T 13095. 7.6 Handrails Apply a pull force of 500 N vertically to the wall, on which the handrail is installed, using a push-pull force gauge. Keep it for 1 min. 7.7 Environmental adaptability 7.7.1 High and low temperature test According to the requirements of GB/T 2423.22-2012, the test room temperature is 25 °C ± 5 °C; the high temperature is 80 °C; the low temperature is -40 °C; the exposure duration is 2 hours; the conversion time is ≤ 45 minutes; the number of test cycles is 2 times. 7.7.2 Vibration test According to the requirements of GB/T 2423.10-2019, the acceleration is 0.9 g; the vibration frequency is 5 Hz ~ 150 Hz; the frequency sweep rate is 1 oct/min; it shall finish 30 cycles. 7.8 Corrosion resistance 7.8.1 Ventilation window frame in toilet: According to the requirements in 5.4 of GB/T 10125-2012, carry out copper accelerated acetic acid salt spray for 168 h. 7.8.2 Faucet in the toilet: According to the requirements in 5.4 of GB/T 10125-2012, carry out copper accelerated acetic acid salt spray for 24 hours. 7.9 Ventilation volume Test according to the provisions of GB/T 1236. 7.10 Leakage prevention 7.10.1 Sliding valve test The sliding valve on the upper part of the waste water tank is in a sealed closed state. Add clean water to the lower edge of the upper plane of the urinal. Keep it for 10 minutes. Check whether the seal of the sliding valve is in good condition. Fill the waste water tank with water. Keep it for 10 minutes. Check whether the waste water tank and the lower sliding valve are well sealed. 7.10.2 Pneumatic components and piping test 7.10.2.1 After the installation of the pneumatic components and pipelines in the toilet is completed, seal the pipelines; pressurize the pipelines to 1 MPa; keep the pressure for 10 minutes; check all joints and components of the pipelines for leakage. 7.10.2.2 Keep the pipeline's pressure at 0.4 MPa. Open and close the switch repeatedly. Check whether the components and the sliding valve are working normally. 7.10.3 Test of water purification and hand washing device and pipeline 7.10.3.1 After the toilet's water inlet pipe joint is installed, fill the clean water tank with clean water. Discharge the air in the pipeline. Close each water outlet. Start the water pump and run it for 3 min ~ 5 min. Check whether there is leakage for all water circuits and joints. 7.10.3.2 In the normal working state, turn on the switch of each water outlet respectively, to check whether each water outlet works normally. 7.11 Flame retardancy test Test according to the provisions of GB 38262. ......
