This Part is Part 12 of JR/T 0025.
This Part was drafted according to the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Part replaces JR/T 0025.12-2012 "China financial integrated circuit card
specifications - Part 12. Contactless integrated circuit card payment specification".
Compared with JR/T 0025.12-2010, this Part has the main changes as follows.
- Standard foreword is amended;
- All MSD-related contents are deleted;
- The requirements of the card for online when the Authorized Amount is zero are
deleted to be compatible with the newly-added qPBOC expansion application;
- "PBOC application" in the original specification is changed into the more exact
description "debit/credit application";
- The transaction log is recorded optionally by the card issuer instead of no
recording;
- The requirements for 9F63 are added in the card online GPO response data to
accommodate the increasing application demands;
- The counter increase and comparison method is modified in 7.7.13 to keep
consistent with those in JR/T 0025.5;
- It was defined that GPO response shall comply with Format 2 in JR/T 0025.5;
- The requirements of Issuer Defined Data in 9F10 are defined;
- The acquirement and alter mode of TAG in Annex C.1 are defined;
- The length of the last record of qPBOC offline transaction is defined;
- The correction of typesetting and words description in the original specification is
carried out.
- The original fDDA signature method is defined as version "00" and version "01"
fDDA signature method is added. The Card Authentication Related Data (Tag
“9F69”) gets involved in the signature in version "01" is added and two versions of
fDDA are marked.
This Part is proposed by the People's Bank of China.
This Part is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Financial of

Introduction
This Part is Part 12 of JR/T 0025 and constitutes the contactless application together
with JR/T 0025.8 and JR/T 0025.11.
This Part mainly defines the financial payment application based on the contactless
interface. The physical characteristics, radio-frequency power and signal interface as
well as the requirements for initialization, collision detection and transport protocol are
not specified in this Part. The related requirements are described in JR/T 0025.8 and
JR/T 0025.11.

1 Scope
This Part of JR/T 0025 describes the application of contactless integrated circuit card
and provides the requirements for the contactless payment application (qPBOC) of the
fast debit/credit.
This Part is applicable to the financial contactless integrated circuit card issued or
received by the banks. The using objects are mainly the relevant departments for such
card design, manufacture, management, issuance and acceptance and those for the
development, integration and maintenance of the application system.

Card
In this Part, the "card" refers to the consumer device interchanging with the payment
terminal and equipped with the contactless payment application.
The term “card”, originally, refers to the payment card with the same size as the
traditional credit cards, but in this Part, it refers to any consumer device capable of
operation processing through the contactless interface (such as mobile telephone or
PDA).
