1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to implementing the policies and guidelines of the
national safety production, ensuring the safety of construction personnel, achieving advanced
technology, economic rationality, safety and usability in the design and construction of steel
tubular scaffold with couplers.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of floor type
single/double po1e steel tubular scaffold with couplers, fastener steel tube full scaffold, steel
shape cantilevered steel tubular scaffold with couplers and fastener steel tube full formwork
support in the building engineering and municipal engineering construction.
1.0.3 Before the construction of steel tubular scaffold with couplers, design calculation shall
be carried out for the foundation bearing capacity of structural members and upright tubes
according to the requirements of this code, and special construction plan shall be compiled.
1.0.4 Design, construction and acceptance of steel tubular scaffold with couplers shall not
only meet the requirements of this code, but also comply with those in the current relevant
ones of the nation.
2 Terms and Symbols
2.1 Terms
2.1.1 Steel tubular scaffold with couplers
They refer to the scaffolds and formwork supports composed of couplers and steel tubes,
installed for the building construction and bearing the loads, including various scaffolds and
formwork supports in this code.
2.1.2 Formwork support
It refers to the bearing-strength support installed for the steel structure installation or
concrete member casting.
2.1.3 Single pole steel tubular scaffold with couplers
It refers to the scaffold with only one row of upright tube and one end of horizontal tube
placed and fixed on the wall, hereinafter referred to as single pole scaffold.
2.1.4 Double po1e steel tubular scaffold with couplers
It refers to the scaffold composed of two rows of internal and external upright tubes and
horizontal tubes, hereinafter referred to as double pole scaffold.
2.1.5 Fastener steel tube full hall scaffold
It refers to the scaffold composed of at least three rows of upright tubes and horizontal
tubes, horizontal diagonal bracing, vertical diagonal bracing and couplers along the
longitudinal and transverse directions. The construction loads at the top operation layer of
scaffold are transferred to the upright tube through horizontal tube which makes the top
upright tube in the state of eccentric compression, hereinafter referred to as full scaffold.
2.1.6 Fastener steel tube full hall formwork support
It refers to the bearing-strength support composed of no less than three rows of upright
tubes and horizontal tubes, horizontal diagonal bracing, vertical diagonal bracing and couplers
along the longitudinal and transverse directions. The construction loads of steel structure
installation (the same engineering) at the top of scaffold are transferred to the upright tube
through adjustable forkhead axis which make the top upright tube in the state of axial
