a) Adjust the “Brightness” setting so that the two extreme white gray levels of 0% and 5% of the first row can be resolved exactly. Optimal state
Let the brightness difference between the two blocks be between 2 and 20 minimum resolution differences.
b) gradually reduce the "contrast" from the maximum value until the two extreme black gray levels of 100% and 95% gray in the second row can
It is well resolved from each other; likewise the difference in brightness between them is preferably between 2 and 20 minimum distinguishable differences.
c) Repeat the above process until the two extreme gray levels are exactly resolvable. If you can't do it, you should experiment
The report records the best minimum resolution difference between adjacent grayscale blocks. Throughout the adjustment process, you can distinguish 10%, 15%,
The difference between 85% and 90% of the four squares is to avoid dizziness or as a reference for the difference in brightness. (in the area between the limit black and white squares)
When not, the gap between other gray squares may be uneven. )
