Foreword
GB/T 6995 " Markings for electric wires and cables" is divided into five parts.
- Part 1. General requirements;
- Part 2. Standard colours;
- Part 3. Identifications of cables and wires;
- Part 4. Identifications of insulated conductors of cables and wires for electrical
appliances and equipments;
- Part 5. Identifications of insulated cores of power cables.
This Part is part 2 of GB/T 6995.
This Part replaces GB 6995.2-1986 “Markings for electric cables and wires – Part 2.
Standard colours”.
Compared with GB 6995.2-1986, the main changes of this Part are as follows.
- Add IEC 60304.1982 as the normative reference (see Chapter 2);
- Adjust the clause number of "standard colours" (Chapter 2 of previous edition;
Chapter 3 of this edition);
- Delete the “light-blue” in standard colours (Chapter 2 of previous edition);
- Delete the colour-swatches of 12 kinds of standard colours (Chapter 2 of previous
edition);
- Add the requirements of list and colour-swatches of 12 kinds of standard colours
(see Chapter 3).
This Part was proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association.
This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Wires and
Cables of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 213).
