This Standard applies to M1 pure electric vehicles that can be battery swapped. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. GB 18384-2020, Electric vehicles safety requirements GB/T 19596, Terminology of electric vehicles GB/T 28382-2012, Battery electric passenger cars - Specifications GB/T 30038, Road Vehicles - Degrees of Protection (IP-Code) - Protection of Electrical Equipment Against Foreign Objects, Water and Access GB/T 37133-2018, Technical specifications of high duty cables and connectors for electric vehicles GB 38031-2020, Electric vehicles traction battery safety requirements 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 19596 as well as the followings apply. 3.1 battery swap a process of realizing the electric energy supplement of electric vehicles through special devices or manual assistance to quickly replace the power battery 4.1.2.2 The battery swap mechanism and the battery swap connector shall be firmly connected. There shall be a structure or design to prevent incorrect coupling. 4.1.2.3 The battery swap mechanism shall have both the automatic unlocking function and manual unlocking function of the dedicated device. Two or more steps shall be used to unlock. The process shall be continuous and reliable. Avoid maloperation. NOTE: The operation of screwing the thread with a tool is regarded as a multi-step unlocking. 4.1.2.4 The electrical interface shall have the correct electrical connection and disconnection sequence. Avoid unexpected high and low voltage circuit conduction during battery swap. 4.1.2.5 When the coolant in the cooling interface (if any) leaks accidentally, it shall not cause electrical interface insulation failure or other safety hazards. The cleanliness of the cooling interface and cooling system shall meet the design requirements of the vehicle manufacturer. 4.2 Vehicle requirements 4.2.1 Battery swap operation 4.2.1.1 Electric vehicles shall be tested for battery swap operation in accordance with 5.3.2. See Table 1 for the number of battery swap operations. Table 1 -- Number of battery swaps 4.2.1.2 During the test, electric vehicles and battery packs shall not have failures that cannot be swappable. 4.2.1.3 During the test, the battery pack shall not show any structural damage such as deformation, cracking that would cause the failure of battery swap. 4.2.1.4 During the test, the battery swap mechanism shall not be damaged, such as being corroded, deformed, cracked, loosened, fell off, which may cause the failure of the swap. 4.2.1.5 During the test, there shall be no failures such as connection failure at the battery swap connector. 4.3.1.5 During and after the test, the battery swap mechanism shall not be damaged, such as being deformed, cracked, loosened, fell off. 4.3.1.6 During and after the test, there shall be no connection failures in the electrical interface. The cooling interface shall not have sealing failure. 4.3.2 Battery swap connector 4.3.2.1 The battery swap connector shall be tested in accordance with 5.4.2~5.4.5. 4.3.2.2 Test according to 5.4.2. There shall be no dielectric breakdown or arc phenomenon in the electrical interface. 4.3.2.3 Test according to 5.4.3. The insulation resistance between the conductors, between the conductor and the shell, between the conductor and the shielding layer of the electrical interface shall not be less than 100MΩ. 4.3.2.4 Test according to 5.4.4. The degree of protection of the electrical interface shall meet the requirements of IPX7 and IPX9K. 4.3.2.5 Test according to 5.4.5. The temperature rise of the electrical interface without temperature monitoring shall not be greater than 50K. The electrical interface with temperature monitoring shall meet the requirements of the vehicle manufacturer. 5 Test methods 5.1 General 5.1.1 Unless otherwise required, component tests shall be carried out under the following environmental conditions: a) Ambient temperature: 23°C±5°C; b) Relative humidity: 15%~90%; c) Atmospheric pressure: 86kPa~106kPa. 5.1.2 All measuring instruments and equipment shall have sufficient accuracy. The accuracy shall be at least one order of magnitude higher than the accuracy of the measured index or the error shall be less than one-third of the allowable error of the measured parameter. 5.2 Appearance, structure and function inspection Check the appearance, structure and function by observation or manual operation. 5.3 Vehicle test 5.3.1 Test plan 5.3.1.1 The vehicle test includes battery swap operation test, road driving test and waterproof test. 5.3.1.2 One vehicle and one battery pack shall be provided for all vehicle test items. It can also be equipped with multiple vehicles and multiple battery packs to assist in the test. 5.3.1.3 During the whole vehicle test, the consumable parts can be maintained or replaced in accordance with the regulations of the vehicle manufacturer. 5.3.2 Battery swap operation test 5.3.2.1 It shall use the battery swap equipment that is in accordance with the vehicle design objectives to carry out the battery swap operation test. 5.3.2.2 The battery swap operation test shall be evenly distributed within the vehicle road test mileage. Multiple tests can be concentrated in one test cycle of battery swap operation. The number of battery swap operations performed in a test cycle shall not be greater than one-tenth of the number specified in 4.2.1.1. 5.3.2.3 Perform appearance, structure and function inspections after the battery swap operation test. 5.3.3 Road driving test 5.3.3.1 The road driving test shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of 4.9.1 in GB/T 28382-2012. 5.3.3.2 Perform appearance, structure and function inspections after road driving test. 5.3.4 Waterproof test of vehicle 5.3.4.1 The waterproof test of the vehicle shall be carried out after the whole vehicle battery swap operation and road driving test are all finished. Carry out the test according to the vehicle waterproof test method specified in 6.3 of GB 18384-2020. 5.3.4.2 After the simulated cleaning test, the vehicle is placed still for 24h. Check whether the vehicle has an insulation alarm. ......
