1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, grading, test methods, slip grade marking and test reports involved in the evaluation of the slip resistance of ceramic tiles.
This standard applies to the evaluation of the anti-skid ability of ceramic tiles for the ground in the laboratory and on-site.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 9195 and GB/T 4100 apply to this document.

Anti-slip performance slipresistance
Reduces the risk of slippage between the pedestrian and the surface of the ceramic tile.

Static friction staticfrictionforce
When there is a tendency to move in a horizontal direction between an object that is stationary on a horizontal plane and a horizontal plane, the object is subjected to a horizontal plane.
The force that prevents this relative movement trend.
Note. Static friction will increase as this relative motion trend increases, until the maximum static friction produces relative motion.
