This document is modified to adopt ISO 15792-1:2020 "Test methods for welding materials - Part 1: Testing of deposited metal on steel, nickel and nickel alloys"
Preparation of parts and specimens":
The technical differences between this document and ISO 15792-1:2020 and their reasons are as follows:
---Added the technical requirements for the thickness of the isolation layer after processing (see Chapter 5) to adapt to my country's technical requirements;
---Added technical requirements for scrapping angular deformation specimens (see 6:2) to apply to my country's technical requirements;
---Replaced ISO 13916 with normatively quoted GB/T 18591, and added processing requirements if the inter-pass temperature does not meet the specified temperature:
Sum the recommended temperature measurement points (see 7:2) to meet my country’s technical requirements;
---Added the requirement that the performance of the sample should not be affected during sampling and cutting (see 9:1) to comply with my country's technical requirements;
---Changed the 1:0 and 1:1 types of test pieces to use circular cross-section test specimens with d0 of 6mm (see 9:2) to adapt to our country's technology
Require;
---Replaced ISO 5178 (see 9:2) with normatively cited GB/T 2652, and added tensile test specimen drawings and dimensions (see Figure 4 and
Table 2), to facilitate the execution of this document;
---Replaced ISO 9016:2012 (see 9:3) with the normatively cited GB/T 2650-2022: The consistency process between the two documents
The degree has been modified, and the V-notch impact specimen diagram and dimensions (see Figure 5 and Table 3) have been added to facilitate the execution of this document:
The following editorial changes have been made to this document:
---In order to coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard is changed to "Inspection of Welding Materials Part 1: Deposited Metal Strength of Steel, Nickel and Nickel Alloys"
Preparation of chemical performance samples";
---Deleted the "References" chapter:

introduction
The mechanical properties, multi-position adaptability and root penetration of T-joint fillet welds are important indicators for the classification or inspection of welding materials:
The specimen preparation process has a great impact on its final results:
GB/T 25774 "Inspection of Welding Materials" standardizes the mechanical properties and preparation of T-joint fillet weld specimens, welding materials
Product standards all quote this series of documents, and the unified requirements for sample preparation are conducive to the implementation of product standards: GB/T 25774 is welding materials
The universal sample preparation method standard consists of the following three parts:
---Part 1: Preparation of mechanical properties specimens of steel, nickel and nickel alloy deposited metals: The purpose is to provide for the preparation of steel, nickel
The test piece base material, preparation requirements, welding conditions and sample requirements required for arc welding welding materials deposited metal mechanical properties test specimens:
---Part 2: Preparation of mechanical properties specimens of single-sided single-pass welded and double-sided single-pass welded joints of steel: The purpose is to provide for the application
The specimen master required for preparing mechanical properties specimens of single-sided single-pass welding and double-sided single-pass welding joints of steel arc welding materials:
Materials, preparation requirements, welding conditions and sample requirements:
---Part 3: Preparation and inspection of T-joint fillet weld specimens: The purpose is to provide for the preparation of steel and nickel welding materials
The test piece base material, preparation requirements and inspection requirements required for T-joint fillet weld specimens:
When multi-pass welding is used for welding materials, classification and testing can be carried out in accordance with the provisions of this document: Due to the welding material diameter, weld bead width, welding
Depending on parameters such as welding position and material composition, the mechanical properties of deposited metal samples used for welding material classification may differ from those of the welded joints:
The mechanical properties are different:
Examination of welding materials part 1:
Steel, nickel and nickel alloy deposited metals
Preparation of mechanical property specimens
1 Scope
This document specifies the preparation of deposited metal tensile and impact specimens for steel, nickel and nickel alloy welding materials:
This document is applicable to arc welding material classification tests of steel, nickel and nickel alloys or other tests to determine the mechanical properties of deposited metals:
Sample preparation:
