Foreword
This document was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020,
Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of
standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 16622-2009, Size designation dimensions and load
capacity for pressed-on solid tyres. Compared with GB/T 16622-2009, in addition to
structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
-- Change the scope of application (see Chapter 1; Chapter 1 of the 2009 edition);
-- Change the expression of tyre size designation (see 4.1, 4.2; Chapter 4 of the 2009
edition);
-- Add a schematic diagram of the components and dimensions of the tyre and rim
assembly (see Figure 1);
-- Add new tyre dimension specifications to tyre size designation (see Table 1 and
Table 2);
-- Add the load of other industrial trucks at rates of 6 km/h and 10 km/h (see Table 1
and Table 2);
-- Add size designations for some tyres (see Table 1 and Table 2);
-- Change the load capacity of some size designations, and recalculate the load
capacity (see Table 1, Table 2; Table 2, Table 3 of the 2009 edition).
This document was drafted with reference to ISO 10500:1991 Industrial tyres and rims
- Cylindrical and conical base rubber solid tyres (metric series) - Designation,
dimensions and marking, while the degree of consistency is non-equivalent.

1 Scope
This document specifies the expression for size designation of pressed-on solid tyres,
as well as the size designation, dimensions, rate and load capacity for tyres.
This document applies to the new pressed-on solid tyres used on counterbalanced trucks
with mast and other industrial trucks.

The following documents are normatively referenced in this document and are
indispensable for its application. For dated references, only the version corresponding
to that date is applicable to this document; for undated references, the latest version
(including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions determined by GB/T 6326 and GB/T 16623 are applicable to this
document.
4 Expression of tyre size designation and schematic diagram
of dimensions of tyre and rim assembly components
4.1 Tyre size designation expressed in imperial system
An example of tyre size designation expressed in imperial system is shown as follows:
2 – rim overall diameter;
3 – section width;
4 – rubber carcass;
5 – steel ring;
6 – rim.

5 Size designation, dimensions, rate and load capacity for
tyres
5.1 For tyres designed and produced according to this document, their requirements,
test methods and marking shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 16623.
5.2 The correspondence between tyre size designation, new tyre dimensions, rate and
load capacity shall comply with the provisions in Table 1 and Table 2.
5.3 The fit dimensions of tyre and rim should comply with the relevant provisions of
GB/T 16623.
