Technical drawings - Title blocks
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 10609 specifies the basic requirements, content, size, format
of the title blocks in the technical drawings.
This part applies to the title blocks in the technical drawings.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this part
through reference in this part of GB/T 10609. For the dated references, the
subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to
this part; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are
encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable.
For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies.

3 Basic requirements
3.1 There shall be a title block in each technical drawing.
3.2 The title block shall be configured in the technical drawings according to the
position as specified in GB/T 14689.
4.2.1.5 Signature and year month day: Fill in the name of the changer and the
time of the change.
4.2.2 Signature area: In the signature area, it generally signs the name and year,
month, day according to the relevant provisions of design, review, process,
standardization, approval.
4.2.3 Other areas
4.2.3.1 Material marking: For the drawings requiring this item, the materials
used shall generally be filled in accordance with the corresponding standards
or requirements.
4.2.3.2 Stage marking: Fill in the production stages of the pattern from left to
right according to relevant requirements.
4.2.3.3 Weight: Fill in the calculated weight of the corresponding product of the
drawn drawing. When the kilogram (kg) is used as the unit of measurement, it
is allowed to not write out the unit of measurement.
4.2.3.4 Proportion: Fill in the proportion used when making the drawing.
4.2.3.5 Page __ of __: Fill in the total number of drawings in the same pattern
code and the page number the sheet.
4.2.3.6 Projection symbol: The projection recognition symbol of the drawing
method of the first corner or the third corner is as shown in Figure 1. If the
drawing method of the first corner is used, it may omit the marking.

4.2.4 Name and code area
4.2.4.1 Organization name: Fill in the name or code of the drawing organization.
If necessary, it may not be filled out.
4.2.4.2 Drawing name: Fill in the name of the object drawn.
4.2.4.3 Drawing code: Fill the code of the drawing according to the relevant
standards or requirements.
