Preface
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 13788-2017 Cold-rolled ribbed steel bars. Compared with GB/T 13788-2017, except for structural adjustments and editing
In addition to the changes in performance, the main technical changes are as follows.
--CRB680H was deleted (see 4.2, 5.1, 5.6.1, Table 3, and Figure 5 of the.2017 edition);
--The product specifications have been changed (see 5.1, Table 1, 5.1, Table 1 of the.2017 edition);
--Deleted the four-sided rib shape and its related provisions (see 5.2 and Table 2 of the.2017 edition);
--Changed the relevant provisions on raw materials (see 6.1, Appendix A, 6.1 of the.2017 edition);
--Changed the relevant provisions on delivery status (see 6.2, 6.2 of the.2017 edition);
--Changed the elongation after fracture index of CRB550, and the total elongation index of maximum force of CRB650 and CRB800 (see Table 2,.2017
Table 3 of the version);
--Added relevant provisions on "reels" and "coils" in factory inspection (see Table 4);
--The steel bar grade symbol has been changed (see 9.2, 9.2 of the.2017 edition).

1 Scope
This document specifies the grade, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, raw materials and properties, test
Inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates.
This document is applicable to ordinary reinforced concrete, manufacturing welded mesh, and cold-rolled ribbed bars for prestressed concrete.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
After the hot rolled round bar is cold rolled, it has transverse ribs evenly distributed along the length of the steel bar.
3.2
Nominal diameter
The diameter of a circle equal to the nominal cross-sectional area of the steel bar.
3.3
Specific projected rib area
The ratio of the projected area of the transverse rib on the plane perpendicular to the axis of the steel bar to the product of the nominal circumference of the steel bar and the transverse rib spacing.
3.4
rib spacing
The chord length of the discontinuous part of the transverse rib on the circumference of the steel bar projected onto the plane perpendicular to the axis of the steel bar.
