This Standard is applicable to battery grade lithium oxide produced from anhydrous lithium hydroxide, lithium carbonate, lithium peroxide and metallic lithium as the raw materials. 2 Normative References The following documents are indispensable to the application of this document. In terms of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this document. GB/T 191-2008 Packaging - Pictorial Marking for Handling of Goods GB 4387 Safety Regulation for Railway and Road Transportation in Plants of Industrial Enterprises JT 617 Regulations Concerning Road Transportation of Dangerous Goods JT 618 Rules of Transportation Loading and Unloading of Dangerous Goods by Automobile 3 Requirements 3.1 Chemical Composition The chemical composition of battery grade lithium oxide shall comply with the stipulations of Table 1. The sampling shall be carried out in a glove box protected by an inert gas atmosphere. The dew point of the glove box is required to reach 45 C. For each batch, the sampling shall be carried out in accordance with the following stipulations: for less than 10 bags, randomly take 1 bag; for 10 ~ 20 bags, randomly take 2 bags; for above 20 bags, randomly take 4 bags; the sampling size of each bag is not less than 10 g. After thoroughly mixing it in a mixing bottle, conduct the inspection. 5.5 Determination of Inspection Results 5.5.1 When the inspection result of chemical composition of the products is disqualified, then, double the sampling from the same batch of products and conduct a repeated inspection on the disqualified items. If there is still one disqualified item in the inspection results, then, the batch shall be determined as disqualified. 5.5.2 When the appearance quality of the products is disqualified, then, the batch shall be determined as disqualified. 6 Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage 6.1 Marking The outer packaging bag of the products shall be marked with: product name, batch No., net weight, main content, supplier name, serial No. of this Standard, place of origin and “Keep Away from Rain” mark in GB/T 191-2008, etc. 6.2 Packaging 6.2.1 The packaging materials dried at a temperature of 60 C ~ 80 C for 4 h must be used. 6.2.2 The products shall be packaged in a drying room or glove box. For the inner packaging, firstly use a four-layer composite aluminum-plastic bag for the packaging, after sealing it, use a four-layer composite aluminum-plastic bag for the sealing. The net weight of each bag is 15 kg. 6.2.3 Depending on the size of the shipment, the outer packaging is galvanized iron drums or tinplate cans. 6.2.4 When the demand-side has special requirements for the packaging, the demand-side and the supply-side shall have further negotiation. 6.3 Transportation and Storage 6.3.1 The product is a highly water-absorbent chemical. It shall be fire-proof and moisture- proof during transportation. It is strictly prohibited to turn it upside down or violently collide it. The drums must not roll on the ground during transportation. Transportation by automobile shall be carried out in accordance with the stipulations of JT 617, JT 618 and GB 4387. ......
