1 Scope
This Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking,
packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and order form (or contract)
content of battery grade lithium dihydrogen phosphate.
This Standard applies to battery grade lithium dihydrogen phosphate produced by the
neutralization method using lithium carbonate or lithium hydroxide monohydrate as
raw materials.

3 Requirements
3.1 Product classification
The products are divided into two designations according to their chemical composition:
LiH2PO4-1 and LiH2PO4-2.
3.2 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of battery grade lithium dihydrogen phosphate products
shall comply with the requirements in Table 1.
5.5.2 If the moisture inspection result of a product fails, double samples will be taken
from the same batch of products, and the unqualified items will be repeatedly inspected.
If there is still one unqualified inspection result, the batch of products will be
determined as unqualified.
5.5.3 If the product pH is unqualified, double samples will be taken from the same batch
of products, and the unqualified items will be repeatedly inspected. If there is still one
unqualified inspection result, the batch of products will be determined as unqualified.
5.5.4 If the appearance quality of a product is unqualified, double samples will be taken
from the same batch of products, and the unqualified items will be repeatedly inspected.
If there is still one unqualified inspection result, the batch of products will be
determined as unqualified.
6 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality
certificate
6.1 Marking
The product packaging bag shall be marked with: product name, batch number, net
weight, main content, supply party’s name, implemented standards, place of origin,
“KEEP DRY” marking in GB/T 191-2008, etc.
6.2 Packaging
The products are packed by double-layer packaging, with plastic film bags inside and
plastic woven bags outside, or with plastic laminated bags. The inner bag is zipped or
heat-sealed, and the outer bag is seamed firmly. The net weight of each bag is based on
customer requirements.
6.3 Transportation
When transporting the product, avoid contact with acids and alkalis, prevent the
packaging bag from being damaged during transportation, and pay attention to
moisture-proofing.
6.4 Storage
The product shall be stored in a dry, acid-free and alkali-free atmosphere. The expiration
date should not exceed half a year.
6.5 Quality certificate
Each batch of products shall be accompanied by a quality certificate stating:
a) supply party’s name, address, telephone number, and fax number;
