EDTA titration
1 Scope
YS/T of the provisions of the section 903 determination of indium in waste indium content.
This section applies to the determination of indium in ITO target scrap quantity, measuring range: 50.00% - 80.00%.
2 Method summary
Sample by mixed acid (hydrochloric acid, nitric acid) dissolved, sulfuric smoke, hydrochloric acid medium at pH2.5 ~ 3.5, temperature 60 ℃ ~ 80 ℃ conditions
Next to tartaric acid, potassium fluoride, thiourea and ascorbic acid masking elements coexist, xylenol orange as indicator, titrate with EDTA,
Calculate the amount of indium.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated, this part of the reagents were analytical reagent, the water for the two water.
3.1 hydrochloric acid (ρ = 1.19g/mL).
3.2 nitric acid (ρ = 1.42g/mL).
3.3 glacial acetic acid.
3.4 hydrochloride (11).
3.5 sulfate (11).
3.6 ascorbic acid.
3.7 tartaric acid solution (200g/L).
3.8 thiourea solution (50g/L).
3.9 potassium fluoride solution (100g/L).
3.10 ammonia (11).
3.11 xylenol orange indicator solution (1g/L).
3.12 Indium standard solution: Weigh 2.0000g indium [w (In) ≥99.99%] placed in 200mL beaker, add 20mL hydrochloric acid
(3.1), low heat until completely dissolved, cooled to room temperature and transferred to 500mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1
mL containing 4.0mg indium.
3.13 disodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate (EDTA) standard solution
3.13.1 formulated
Weigh 18.60gEDTA placed in 400mL beaker, add water, heat gently to dissolve, cooled to room temperature and transferred to 2000mL volumetric flask,
Diluted with water to volume, and mix.
3.13.2 Calibration
3.13.2.1 Pipette 20.00mL indium standard solution (3.12) into 300mL beaker.
3.13.2.2 were added 0.5g of ascorbic acid (3.6), 8mL tartaric acid solution (3.7), 3mL glacial acetic acid (3.3), 10mL dissolved thiourea
Solution (3.8), 5mL solution of potassium fluoride (3.9), the solution was diluted with water to a volume of about 150mL.
3.13.2.3 heated to 60 ℃ ~ 80 ℃, ammonia (3.10), hydrochloric acid (3.4) adjusted to pH2.5 ~ 3.5.
