Battery grade lithium fluoride
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings,
packaging, transportation and storage, quality certificate, and contract (or order form)
content of battery-grade lithium fluoride.
This standard applies to the battery-grade lithium fluoride produced from lithium
hydroxide monohydrate and lithium carbonate. The products are mainly used to
produce battery-grade lithium hexafluorophosphate.

3 Requirements
3.1 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of battery-grade lithium fluoride shall comply with Table 1.
6.1 Marking
The following content shall be marked on each packaging bag of the products:
a) Company name and trademark;
b) Product name;
c) Product gross weight;
d) Product net weight;
e) Date of packaging;
f) Product batch number.
6.2 Packaging
The products are packed in double-layer packaging with an outer layer of plastic woven
bag and a lining of plastic film bag, or in plastic-film-laminated bags. The inner bag is
buckled or heat-sealed, and the outer bag is firmly sealed. The net weight of each bag
is in accordance with customer requirements.
6.3 Transportation and storage
6.3.1 When the product is transported, rainproof transport tools shall be used to avoid
contact with acid. The packaging bag shall be prevented from being damaged during
transportation, and attention shall be paid to moisture-proofing. Automobile
transportation shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations of JT 617, JT 618,
and GB 4387.
6.3.2 Products shall be stored in a dry, acid-free, and alkali-free atmosphere. They shall
not be stacked in the open and protected from moisture.
6.3.3 The shelf life of the product is one year from the date of production, under the
required packaging conditions and storage conditions.
6.4 Quality certificate
Each batch of products shall be accompanied by a product quality certificate indicating
the following content:
a) Supplier's name, address, telephone number, and fax number;
b) Product name;
