Part 5. sulfur content - Gravimetric method
1 Scope
This section YS/T 1050 specifies the method for determination of lead-antimony concentrate sulfur content.
This section applies to the determination of lead in antimony concentrate sulfur content measurement range (mass fraction) 15.00% - 30.00%.
2 Method summary
Sample at 750 ℃ by sodium carbonate - zinc oxide mixture after sintering, dissolved in water solubles, and precipitated barium sulfate solution.
The precipitate was filtered, burning, weighed, calculated according to the quality of barium sulfate sulfur content of the sample.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated, this part of the reagents were analytical reagent, the water for the two water.
3.1 zinc oxide.
3.2 anhydrous sodium carbonate.
3.3 hydrochloric acid (ρ = 1.19g/mL).
3.4 nitric acid (ρ = 1.42g/mL).
3.5 hydrochloride (11).
3.6 barium chloride solution (100g/L).
3.7 silver nitrate solution (10g/L). Per 100mL was added dropwise 3 to 4 drops of nitric acid (3.4).

4 Sample
4.1 Sample size should be less than 0.074mm.
4.2 specimen should be 100 ℃ ~ 105 ℃ drying 1h, placed in a desiccator to cool to room temperature.
