Summary This standard specifies the service quality indicators, indicator requirements and corresponding indicator test methods when operators forward non-point-to-point short messages between networks for number portability. This standard only specifies the service from the operator's non-point-to-point short message access network element (i.e., industry gateway/service gateway) to the called user. The service quality between the SP and the access network element is not covered by this standard. This standard is applicable to the testing and evaluation of the forwarding quality of non-point-to-point short messages between number portability networks.
