1 Scope
This standard specifies a high performance liquid chromatographic method of tobacco and tobacco products in the plastid pigment.
This standard applies to the determination of a plastid pigment Tobacco and tobacco products listed in the tables.

4 Reagents and materials

4.4 neoxanthin standard (C40H58O4), a purity of ≥95%.
4.5 Violaxanthin standard (C40H56O4), a purity of ≥95%.
