Compared with XB/T 401-2000, the main changes of this standard are as follows.

---The rare earth content and silicon content in the chemical composition table have been adjusted, and the assessment index of aluminum content has been increased.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of light rare earth composite inoculants.
This standard is applicable to light rare earth composite inoculants that are made from rare earth ferrosilicon and used as an additive to molten iron by electrofusion pulverization.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

Inoculant based on silicon, iron as the balance, and containing rare earth (mainly light rare earth), barium, calcium, aluminum and other elements.
