1 Scope
This Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for flame retardant
performance of decorating materials for multiple unit train.
This Standard applies to decorating materials for multiple unit train with an operating
speed greater than or equal to 200 km/h.

a) Gas sampler. the maximum flow rate of sampling shall be not less than 2 L/min;
b) Infrared analyzer. for CO, CO2 gas analysis, the range for CO. 0.01 % ~ 1 %, for
CO2. 0.1 % ~ 20 %;
c) Gas detection tube. for the detection of HCN harmful gases after combustion;
d) Gas collection bag;
e) Potentiometric titrator. the accuracy is 0.1 % and above;
f) Ion chromatograph.
4.4.3 Gas analysis
4.4.3.1 Analysis of CO and CO2
The collected harmful gases are absorbed by the aqueous solution, dried by a drying
apparatus with CaCl2, and then connected to a CO and CO2 infrared analyzer for gas
analysis.
4.4.3.2 Preliminary analysis of harmful gases
The gas collected in the gas collection bag is preliminarily analyzed by the gas
detection tube to determine the type of harmful substances in the gas. This method is
for qualitative analysis, not for quantitative analysis (except for HCN).
4.4.3.3 Analysis of HCl, HBr, HF
The test method is in accordance with the provisions of GB 5085. 3-2007.
4.4.3.4 Analysis of SO2 gas
The gas in the gas collection bag is passed through the gas sampler to absorb it into
the formaldehyde buffer absorption solution. The volume of the gas is 2 L. The test
method is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 15262-1994, and the gas
concentration is measured.
4.4.3.5 Analysis of HCN gas
The HCN gas analysis is carried out using the detection tube.
4.4.3.6 Analysis of NOx (in NO1) gas
The NOx gas analysis is carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 17096-1997.
4.4.4 Result processing
