Mist
It refers to the tiny droplets suspended in the air.
[GB/T 18664-2002, definition 3.1.18]
3.2
Haze
It refers to a kind of weather formed by the smoke suspended in the air.
3.3
Aerodynamic diameter
It refers to the diameter of the sphere of the unit density (ρ0 = 1 g/cm3)
reaching to the final settlement velocity same as the actual particle when it
is in low Reynolds movement in the static air.
[HJ 653-2013, definition 3.1]
3.4
PM2.5
It refers to the particle in the ambient air for which the aerodynamic
equivalent diameter is less than or equal to 2.5 μm, AND it is also known as
fine particle.
[GB 3095-2012, definition 3.4]
4 Classification, grading and marking
4.1 Classification
Based on structures, the products are divided into disposable masks and
replaceable masks. Based on size, the products are divided into large (L),
medium (M) and small (S).
4.2 Grading
Based on the filtration efficiency, the products are divided into. grade 1 F95 ≥
95%; grade 2 F90 ≥ 90%.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 General requirements
5.1.1 Materials
The material shall comply with the following requirements.
5.1.2 Structural design
Structural design shall comply with the following requirements.
5.1.3 Place of production
The hygiene of the production place of mask shall comply with the Chapter 6
basic hygienic requirements for the workplace of GBZ 1-2010 Hygienic
standards for the design of industrial enterprises.

The filter efficiency will be tested in accordance with the testing methods as
specified in 6.7 of this standard; AND the filter efficiency of each sample shall
always comply with the requirements of Table 2.
5.4 Respiratory resistance
USE the test method as specified in 6.9 of this standard to conduct testing, AND
the results shall comply with the requirements of Table 4.
5.5 Connection force between mask lace and main part
USE the method as specified in 6.10 of this standard to conduct test; when the
mask lace is withstanding 10N axial tensile force for 10s, it shall not be slipping
or fracture.
6 Detection method
6.1 Appearance inspection
Based on each technical requirement, before conducting the lab performance
test, it shall conduct visual appearance inspection against the sample. As for
the disposable mask and the replaceable mask, it respectively requires
inspecting 2 samples which are respectively subjected to temperature and
humidity pre-treatment, wherein.
6.2 Temperature and humidity pretreatment
FOLLOW the provisions of 6.2.1 in GB 2626-2006.
6.3 Formaldehyde
FOLLOW the provisions of GB/T 2912.1.The samples were not pretreated AND
the samples were sealed before storage.
6.6 Microbiological indicators
FOLLOW the provisions of Appendix B of GB 15979; before test, the sample
shall be sealed.
6.7 Filter efficiency
FOLLOW the provisions of 6.3 in GB 2626-2006.TAKE 15 disposable masks
or replaceable masks, including 10 untreated samples and 5 temperature and
humidity pretreatment samples.
