Foreword
This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020
"Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of
standardizing documents".
This document replaces QC/T 598-1999 "Bolt with projection welding on the bearing
face". Compared with QC/T 598-1999, the main technical changes are as follows:
- ADD fine thread specifications (see Table 1 and Table 2);
- MODIFY α, h, K, r values, matching hole diameter accuracy (see Table 1 and Table
2);
- MODIFY the requirements on thread tolerances (see Table 3);
- ADD the nominal values of d1, d2, d3, e, f, h, K (see Table 1 and Table 2);
- ADD the requirements for plate thickness dimensions (see Table 1 and Table 2);
- ADD the grade 8.8 mechanical performance grade of Type A and Type C projection
weld bolts (see Table 3).

1 Scope
This document specifies the types, dimensions, and technical conditions of bearing face
projection weld bolts for automobiles.
This document is applicable to projection welding bolts of three types of bearing face
welding joints of type A and C, which have thread specifications of M4 ~ M12/M12 x
1.25, as well type B, which has specification of M5 ~ M10/M10 x 1.25.
