Preface
QC/T 597 "Technical Conditions for Pre-coating Adhesive Layer of Threaded Fasteners" is divided into three parts.
--Part 1.Microcapsule locking layer;
--Part 2.Polyamide locking layer;
--Part 3.Sealing coating.
This part is part 3 of QC/T 597.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Standard Structure and Compilation".
This part replaces QC/T 597-1999 "Threaded fastener pre-coated microcapsule anaerobic dry film glue", compared with QC/T 597-1999,
The main technical changes are as follows.
-Deleted the term (see Chapter 3 of the.1999 edition);
-Modified technical requirements and test methods (see Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of the.1999 edition);
- Delete the product number (see Chapter 6 of the.1999 edition);
- Added storage requirements (see Chapter 5 of this edition).
This part was proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China.

Technical requirements of pre-coated adhesive layer for threaded fasteners. Part 3.Sealing coating
1 Scope
This Part specifies the externally threaded fasteners (bolts, screws and studs, hereinafter referred to as bolts,
The requirements, test methods, inspection rules and storage of pre-coated non-reusable sealing coatings (hereinafter referred to as sealants) on the bolts.
This section applies to the threaded joint seals that comply with GB/T 196, GB/T 197 or GB/T 12716.

3 requirements
3.1 Tightness at room temperature
3.1.1 The bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed into the screw holes before contacting the coolant, and the thread pair should be ensured not to leak. The test method is in accordance with 4.2.1.
3.1.2 The bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed into the screw holes, and the screw pair shall not leak after the compressed air is introduced. The test method is in accordance with 4.2.2.
3.1.3 The bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed into the screw holes, and the thread pair shall not leak after the water is passed through. The test method is in accordance with 4.2.3.
3.2 Aging resistance
3.2.1 The bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed into the screw holes before contacting the oil, and the thread pair should be ensured not to leak. The test method is in accordance with 4.3.1.
3.2.2 The bolts coated with sealant and the screw holes are fully screwed together before contacting with fuel (gasoline or diesel), and the thread pair should be ensured not to leak. The test method is in accordance with 4.3.2.
3.2.3 The bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed into the screw holes before contacting the gearbox oil, and the thread pair should be ensured not to leak. The test method is in accordance with 4.3.3.
3.3 Heat resistance
After the bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed with the screw holes, put them at 150℃ for 5 hours, and then put them at room temperature.
Meet the requirements of 3.1 and 3.2.
3.4 Cold resistance
After the bolts coated with sealant are fully screwed with the screw holes, place them at -30°C for 5 hours, and then place them at room temperature. They should meet the requirements of 3.1 and 3.2 respectively.
3.5 Resistance to thermal shock
The bolts and screw holes coated with sealant shall have resistance to cold and heat shock after being fully screwed. The test method is as specified in 4.4.
3.6 Bolt pre-coated position and length
Coat the sealant on the bolt thread, and the coating length is equal to the thread diameter ± 1 pitch. Unless otherwise specified, avoid

The coating angle of the glue is 360° (the sealant is coated all the way). It is not allowed to leave any sealant on the threaded undercut groove, the bolt bearing surface, or on the polished rod, and the screwing part.
4 Test method
4.1 General
4.1.1 Test device
4.1.1.1 The screw holes on the steel pressure vessel should be free of coating, kept clean and dry.
4.1.1.2 The tolerance of ordinary threaded holes is 6H, according to the regulations of GB/T 197; the tolerance of pipe threaded holes is according to the regulations of GB/T 12716.
4.1.1.3 The pressure error of the test device during the whole test shall be controlled within ±3%. The schematic diagram of the test device is shown in Figure 1.
4.1.2 Screwing of bolts and screw holes
4.1.2.1 The bolts coated with microcapsule sealant should be screwed together at a speed of less than 30 r/min, and the temperature should be (23±2) ℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 65%.
Place for 24 hours under the environment.
4.1.2.2 The bolts coated with non-encapsulated sealant are screwed together at a speed of less than 30 r/min and can be tested immediately at room temperature.
4.1.2.3 After the bolts are screwed together, no clamping force should be generated.
4.1.2.4 When the bolts are screwed into the screw holes on the pressure vessel, the sealant should be fully engaged with the screw holes.
4.2 Tightness test under room temperature conditions, different test media and working conditions
4.2.1 Coolant
A liquid that is fully mixed with 40% water, fluorescent agent, and cooling liquid that meets GB 29743 is used as the test medium, and the bolts are coated with sealant
Screw it into the screw hole of a steel pressure vessel of 1 MPa and maintain the pressure for 1 min. Observe under ultraviolet light, there should be no leakage in the thread pair.
4.2.2 Compressed air
Use compressed air as the test medium and apply soap solution to the screwed part of the bolt, and keep the pressure in the screw hole of a steel container of 1 MPa for 1 min.
The thread pair should not show any leakage.
4.2.3 Water
For the bolts coated with sealant, use water as the test medium and keep the pressure in a steel pressure vessel of 1 MPa for 1 min. There should be no leakage in the thread pair.
4.3 Aging resistance test under different test media and working conditions
4.3.1 Engine oil
The liquid that is fully mixed with the engine oil and fluorescent agent that meets the requirements of GB 11121 is used as the test medium, and the bolts coated with sealant are screwed into 0.4
MPa steel pressure vessel screw holes, and keep the pressure at (150±2)℃ for 5 hours. Observed under ultraviolet light, the thread pair

4.3.2 Fuel (gasoline or diesel)
The liquid which is fully mixed with the vehicle gasoline specified in GB 17930 or the vehicle diesel fuel IV specified in GB 19147 and fluorescent agent as the test
As the test medium, screw the bolts coated with sealant into the screw holes of a 0.4 MPa steel pressure vessel, and maintain the pressure at (70±2)℃.

4.3.3 Transmission oil
The liquid fully mixed with gearbox oil 1 and fluorescent agent is used as the test medium. Screw the bolts coated with sealant into 0.4 MPa steel pressure

4.4 Thermal shock resistance test
After the bolts coated with sealant and the screw holes are fully screwed together, they are placed in a thermal shock test box, and placed in an environmental condition of (120±2) ℃ for 1 hour.
Then place it at (-30±2)℃ for 1h. The above process is 1 cycle.
Continue for 20 cycles. After the cycle is over, water is used as the test medium at room temperature, and the pressure is maintained in a 0.4 MPa steel pressure vessel for 5 hours. There should be no leakage in the thread pair.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 Factory inspection
It is required to comply with the provisions of 3.1.3, and the test method shall comply with the provisions of 4.2.3.
Lubricants for automatic transmissions or manual transmissions of bolted service models shall be used. The specifics are negotiated by both parties.
5.2 Type inspection
According to the requirements of Chapter 3, the test method should meet the requirements of 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4.
6 Storage
After applying glue, the bolts should be stored for 6 months under the conditions of avoiding heat and direct sunlight. The sealant should maintain its performance and allow color difference.
