This Standard is applicable to various wire rods with diameter of 5mm~28mm and produced by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. 2 Normative References The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) are applicable to this document. GB/T 8170-2008 Rules of Rounding off for Numerical Values & Expression and Judgement of Limiting Values 3 Classification and Code Ordinary precision Level-A Higher precision Level-B Advanced precision Level-C 4 Dimension, Shape and Allowable Deviation 4.1 The nominal diameter and cross-sectional area of the wire rod shall meet the requirements in Table 1. 4.2 The allowable deviation of diameter and out-of-roundness of the wire rod shall comply with the corresponding precision levels specified in Table 1. Out-of-roundness refers to the difference between the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter on the same section of the wire rod. 4.3 The precision levels shall be specified in the contract. If it is not specified, it shall be executed according to Level-A precision. 4.4 According to the requirements of the purchaser, through the negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, wire rods of other sizes than those specified in Table 1 may be supplied. The allowable deviations are based on the adjacent smaller specifications in Table 1. 5 Weight 5.1 Wire rods are delivered by actual weight. Refer to Table 1 for the theoretical weight of the wire rods. 5.2 Each coil consists of a whole wire rod. 5.3 The weight of a single coil shall meet the requirements of the following corresponding groups; and the coil weight groups (I, II, or III) shall be specified in the contract. If it is not specified, it shall be carried out according to Group-I coil weight: --- Group I: The coil weight shall generally be 1900kg ~ 2400kg. Allow the coil weight of 10% the number of coils per delivery lot (two coils less are allowed to be two coils) to be less than 1900kg, but no less than 1000kg; --- Group II: The coil weight shall generally be 1600 kg~2100 kg. Allow the coil weight of 10% the number of coils per delivery lot (two coils less are allowed to be two coils) to be less than 1600kg, but no less than 1000kg; --- Group III: The coil weight shall generally be no less than 1000 kg. Allow the coil weight of 5% the number of coils per delivery lot (two coils less are allowed to be two coils) to be less than 1000kg, but no less than 800kg. 5.4 According to the requirements of the purchaser, with the agreement between the supplier and the purchaser, wire rods with other coil weights can also be supplied. ......
