This standard was developed on the basis of ZBB72008-1989 "Polymeric Rosin".
This standard compared with the ZBB72008-1989 main changes are as follows.
--- Added terms and definitions;
--- Adjust the technical specifications of the table in the grade and process code location;
--- Removed the technical specifications in the table "C" a modified acid unit symbols;
--- Specified by the original "by the dimer resin acid content of different" to "different by softening point";
--- The color (glass colorimetric), appearance, softening point, acid value, the method of determination of insoluble in ethanol changed to direct reference
GB/T 8146-2003;
--- Increase the factory inspection and type inspection;
--- Polymerization rosin barrel requirements to quote LY/T 1145-1993;

1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements of polymerized rosin, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to the polymerization of rosin as defined in Chapter 3.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
An amorphous transparent solid resin made from gum rosin via catalyst. The main chemical composition is dimeric resin acid, molecule

4 product classification and technical requirements
4.1 Product Classification
According to different softening points, divided into two grades 115 and 140.
By rosin polymerization process is divided into A, B two models. A-type to sulfuric acid as a catalyst to gasoline as the solvent polymerization process;
B-type to sulfuric acid - zinc chloride as a catalyst to gasoline as the solvent polymerization process.
