3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this part of the LY/T 1730.
3.1
The same tree species in the same nursery, with the same propagation materials, using the same nursery techniques to nurture the same age seedlings.
3.2
Seedling age. To experience an annual growth cycle as a seedling unit.
The seedling age is expressed in Arabic numerals, the first number indicates the age of the family seedlings in place; the second number indicates the first post-transplant nurture
The number of years between the dash spacing, the sum of the figures for the age of seedlings, said perennial.
E.g.
1-0 that 1-year-old family seedlings, without transplanting.
0.5-1.5 said two-year-old grafted seedlings, transplanted once.
0.5-0.5 1 year grafted seedlings, transplanted once.
3.3
Interspecific diameter of nursery stock, that is, the thickness of the seedling stems and seedlings at the base of the seedlings,
