This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard is not equivalent to the international standard ISO 16895-1.2008 "Wood-based panels - dry fiberboard - Part 1. Classification" (Wood-base panels-Dry-processfibreboard-Part 1. Classifications) and ISO 16895-2.2010(E) "Wood-based panels - dry fiberboard - Part 2. Technical Requirements (Wood-basepanels-Dry-processfibreboard-Part 2. Requirements) Related content of fiberboard and ultra-low density fiberboard. This standard replaces LY/T 1718-2007 "Lightweight Fiberboard". 1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms, definitions and abbreviations, classifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for low density and ultra low density fiberboard.
