1 Scope
This standard specifies the observation indicators for tropical forest ecosystems, namely meteorological routine indicators, forest microclimate and gradient indicators, and large forests.
Gas deposition indicators, physical and chemical indicators of forest soils, forest ecosystem health indicators, forest hydrological indicators and forest community characteristics indicators.
This standard is applicable to the positioning of tropical forest ecosystems in China (excluding red distributed along beaches and estuaries).

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions established by LY/T 1606-2003 and the following terms apply to this standard.
3.1
In the tropics, biomes (including animals, plants, microorganisms, etc.) with arbor species as the main body have continuous progress with time and space.
A functional unit of life and regenerative capacity for energy exchange, material circulation, and energy transfer.
3.2
A strong storm that occurs on tropical oceans, which divides tropical cyclones into four categories based on the highest winds near the center of the storm. tropical depression
(tropicaldepression)---Wind level below 8, maximum wind speed < 17.2m·s-1; tropical storm---wind
8 to 9 grades, the maximum wind speed is 17.2m·s-1 to 24.4m·s-1; severe tropical storm (severetropicalstorm)---wind 10
Level 11, maximum wind speed 24.5m·s-1~32.6m·s-1; typhoon (typhoon)---wind level 12 or above, maximum wind speed
>32.6m·s-1. Tropical cyclones usually cause violent storms, which are an extreme occurrence in summer and autumn in tropical and subtropical regions of China.
Severe severe weather.
3.3
The amount of water lost when the soil is dried at 105 ° C to constant weight, the mass of water in the unit soil mass (mass fraction) or unit soil capacity
The volume (volume fraction) of water in the product is expressed.
3.4
Direct radiation from the sun's surface and a very narrow circular sky radiation around the sun (annual radiation). It is indicated by the symbol S.
3.5
The portion of short-wave radiation that is reflected upward by the underlying surface (active layer) after the total radiation reaches the ground. It is represented by the symbol Er↑.
