Part 8. Database Software Specification
1 Scope
This part of LY/T 1662 specifies the content of digital forestry database software classification, selection principles, operational specifications and so on.
This section applies to the selection of national (provincial) and county (regional) level database software in the construction of digital forestry.
2 database software classification
According to the amount of data required by database users, the database software is divided into two categories. one is based on the centralized-distributed network structure.
Database system, mainly used for national and provincial data management. The other is a desktop-based database system, mainly used at the regional level.
And county-level data management. The database software classification is shown in Figure 1.
