Part 7. Database building standards
1 Scope
This part of LY/T 1662 specifies the principles for database construction of digital forestry databases, including the classification, organization, naming and data dictionary of databases.
Basic requirements.
This section applies to the establishment of databases for different administrative divisions (including national, provincial, regional and county) in digital forestry.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this section.
2.1
A collection of interrelated data that is reasonably stored on a computer storage device.

A collection of data that can be identified. The data set can be either a database or a (logical component) part of the database.
