According to the ecological conditions and distribution of papaya suitable for growth, it can be divided into three regions. See Appendix A for the division of ecological zones.
4 seedling breeding
4.1 Nursery establishment
4.1.1 Selection of nursery land. Miaoyu should choose convenient transportation, leeward sun, flat terrain, convenient water supply, good drainage, and soil thickness.
For plots above 50cm, the soil texture is loam and sandy loam, and the salt content is less than 0.2%. The nursery land should not be repeated.
4.1.2 Finishing in nursery. Deeply turn the seedbed and apply about 60,000 kg of organic fertilizer per hectare. Leveling and smashing, the width of the kneading surface is 1m~2m, high
Degree and length are suitable for management.
4.2 Seedling cultivation
4.2.1 Cultivation of rootstocks
4.2.1.1 Seed collection and inspection. Select the fully mature fruit on the robust and robust mother plant, remove the seed, clean it, dry it and put it into the breathable
In a good bag, store it in low temperature and dry conditions. The method for testing seed quality is carried out in accordance with GB 2772.

Mix the ratio of 3.1 to 5.1 and put it into the pits in the shade or other containers. The humidity of the sand should be held in groups without dripping.
4.2.1.3 Sowing period. divided into spring sowing and autumn sowing. Spring sowing, when 30% of the seeds of the sand are exposed to white germination, they can be sown in the ground;
After planting, the soil can be carried out before freezing, and attention should be paid after sowing.
4.2.1.4 Seeding rate. The seedlings for direct seeding need 60kg~90kg per hectare.
4.2.1.5 Seeding method. After sowing, spreading, etc., after sowing, cover a layer of fine soil, the thickness of the covering soil is about 3 times the diameter of the seed.
