1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, sampling methods, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of poplar bark.
This standard is applicable to the use of poplar bark as raw material, after chopping, drying and pulverizing, using petroleum ether as solvent, extraction, evaporation, concentration, etc.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1

4.1 Raw materials. Raw bark for preparing poplar bark fat products should be fresh, non-rotted poplar bark, and must not be mixed with other tree species.
For the preparation of poplar bark lipid products, it is not allowed to prepare poplar bark fat products with dried or spoiled poplar bark.
4.2 The quality indicators of poplar bark lipid products are divided into special grade products, first grade products and second grade products.
4.3 The appearance of poplar bark products is a uniform, thick, semi-dry oily paste, which is oily in summer and ointment in winter, orange or yellow.
